Area of interest

My area of interest is cardiac electrophysiology which I believe  presents the greatest intellectual challenge within cardiology. I sought to pursue something innovative, demanding, and distinct to contribute meaningfully to this predominantly male-dominated domain. What intrigues me most is its constant demand for alertness and adaptability. It necessitates a keen investigative mindset as solutions aren't always readily available, frequently calling for real-time problem-solving skills.

I would like to focus my research on :

  • Developing gene- and cell-based therapeutics to offer alternatives or adjuncts to conventional treatments
  • Utilizing gene- and cell-based therapies as supplementary or alternative options to traditional treatments.
  • Investigating minimally invasive percutaneous venous catheter delivery methods to replace invasive techniques, like open-chest and left-sided delivery approaches.
  • Exploring the genetic basis of cardiac arrhythmias to pave the way for genetic interventions.
  • New approaches for the diagnosis and treatment of arrhythmias
