Rodeo has been my passion since I was 2 years old. I started swinging rope as soon as I could walk. I competed in Junior rodeos when I was 5 and I will continue to compete on the PRCA level for as long as I am able.
I am also a student of rodeo and horsemanship. Every day I am working to learn new techniques or training methods.
My lifelong experience with horses, combined with my studies, has created an opportunity for me to start up Swenson Performance Horses. I train 10-12 horses per year for outside customers. I have raised, trained and sold 2 pro-level calf horses this year.
I thoroughly appreciate being able to home school this year as it has given me the opportunity to travel and gain more experience. This year I have and will attend over 115 regular season rodeos between High School, Little Britches, and National Finals, plus The Vegas Tuffest Jr. World Finals, Vegas Stars of Calf Roping, and Cody Nite Rodeo, as well as a number of jackpot ropings in Arizona and Montana. I represent my sponsors at every one of these events with logos on my clothing, social media posts and product highlights.
