Make sure material is not obsolete and is available for requisition on current production orders or that is Shelf life material. Conduct bin surveys/physical inventory counts within my supply center.
- Rotated material first in, first out. Verify that parts requested are valid and cost charges are charged to the correct production order number. Opened crates, boxes cartons, or bags, remove materials from storage, check paperwork/shop orders to make sure items received, documents correspond in identity, quantity, TO number.
- Restock bins by calling out parts using automated system Logistics Modernization Program (LMP). Quality Deficiency Reports (QDR) and Stock Deficiency Reports (SDR) for material with discrepancies. I receive and review salvage and missing items reports; requisition replacement as necessary. racks or shelves, either individually or in box pallets.
