Labor and Delivery unit: (December 2023-Present)

• Developing and maintaining positive relationships with patients and their families.
• Assess fetal well-being through electronic fetal monitoring, intervening when necessary.
• Implement and monitor individualized care and birth plans, modifying the patient’s treatment plan as required by the patient’s responses and condition.
• Provide pre-, intra-, and post-operative care, as well as PACU care, to patients undergoing C-section.

• Developed advanced skills in assessing adult, geriatric, critically ill, pre-op, and post-op patients, and charting/documenting.
• Administering medications, treatments, and therapies to patients in accordance with physician orders and nursing plans.
• Admitting patients, along with discharge planning and teaching from the time of admission.
• Provided quick assessments and helped to determine treatment needed for patients requiring critical care.
• Taking role as charge-nurse, overseeing the units' staff and patients.

• Provided high-level patient care during heavy patient load periods, needing additional personnel.
• Assisted LPNs and other RNs in day-to-day tasks in accordance with patient care plans and physicians' orders.
• Assisted with duties in long-term care and rehabilitation units.

• Provided hands-on direct patient care, taking vital signs, turning and repositioning patients, transferring patients, and assisting with personal hygiene.
