Formulated implementation plans for new product introductions (NPI) following IATF 16949 standards adhering to industry best standards prioritizing service, safety, and cost
New standard work instructions were developed based on time studies and manufacturing process observations
Implemented Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA) techniques to identify potential process failures and develop corrective actions, resulting in improved product quality and reduced rework due to chattering in the broaching work cell
As part of standardizing work, the NIOSH lifting equation and Ergonomics Risk Assessment (ERA) tools were used to study the ergonomics for the transfer press line
This enhanced the process of a task on the transfer press line, increasing throughput and lowering ergonomic risk
Conducted process capability and feasibility studies as a part of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) to ensure new product launches met customer specifications and expectations
Designed process flow diagrams and establishing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions to ensure the systematic preparation of materials, prioritizing operator effectiveness and comfort
As a member of the press stamping team, you should keep an eye on the operation of stamping dies and other relevant machinery for malfunctions and collaborate with the maintenance, tool, and die department to determine the underlying reason and enhance die design
Conducted equipment installation qualification (IQ), operational qualification (OQ), and performance qualification (PQ) for multiple processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards
This included developing validation plans, protocols, and reports, as well as performing statistical analysis and data interpretation to assess process capability and stability
Participated in continuous improvement (kaizen) events to help create and implement cost-cutting strategies
By giving the package engineering team information on part weights, part density in racks, and visual aids, they were able to update unit load data sheets (ULDS)
Coordinated root cause analyses with team leaders and supervisors for various Six Sigma projects
Performed Root cause analysis using various problem-solving techniques Drill Deep, 8D, 5 Phase.

Projects
SAE BAJA, Design and development of an all-terrain vehicle (ATV), design and development of braking system for the vehicle. Involved as braking and power train departments lead, and hands on with production.
Used solid works and CREO for designing.
Performed static analysis on Ansys workbench to find out thermal distribution and to find out von mises stresses. Used CREO to create Chassis designs and structural analysis on that design.
Used CNC part programming for the production gears for the power train.
Used a single cylinder engine and turned the torque by increasing the Stroke length for high torque in low Rpm.
Custom made jigs were used while assembling the vehicle.
Create prototypes check for any errors in the design.
TIG welding is used for all the major joints. And hands on experience with RSW (for two metal plates to join), GMAW (used instead of TIG for minor parts to decrease the cost of welding), laser welding (for parts where precision is needed), SPR (for riveting on the base of the vehicle).
Used self-pierce riveting process for riveting in the chassis base and for the cock pit.
SAE ETWDC, Electric two-wheeler Design Competition. Designed and developed an electric two wheeler.
Responsible for design and manufacturing of braking system and body frame of the two-wheeler. Used solid works and Ansys for designing and analysis. Managed the collection of Project documentation.
Experience with welding processes like Gas metal Arc Welding, Laser Welding and Resistance spot welding.
Academic Projects
Gravity Based Electrical Generator, Design and analysis on gravity based electrical generator using solid works and Ansys workbench.
Tin Can Crusher, Design and analysis of a tin can crusher.
HVAC Systems Design, Designed and Analysed HVAC systems for G+1 building with a Call Centre running in the garage. Used Sketchup for the design of Building structure.
CFD Analysis, CFD analysis on the effect of different spoilers on the car by using Ansys fluent to find out drag and lift forces. Designed the front wings of a F1 car in solid works and inspected the reduction in the drag and lift forces. Used Ansys fluent for the CFD analysis.
