Brain Tumor Detection Using Convolutional Neural Network

- Designed convolutional neural networks for detection of brain tumor in MATLAB.
- Split the total MRI image dataset into training and testing image datasets.
- Given the training image set as the input so that the convolutional neural networks learn patterns for detecting tumors in brain, this forming a model. Exposed the testing set to this model to determine the presence of tumor.
- Achieved 82.22% accuracy with appropriate and practical set of hyper parameters. Made improvements by tuning the hyper parameters which yielded 92.31% accuracy.
