•Fulfilled duties in the Emergency Room and Outpatient Department as required.
•Participated in minor surgical procedures, including incision and drainage of abscesses.
•Delivered comprehensive patient care to a minimum of 4-6 Medical Surgical such as Cardiovascular Accident, Hypertension, Diabetes Mellitus, Bronchial Asthma, Pulmonary Tuberculosis, Renal Failure, and Congestive Heart Failure, Liver cirrhosis, Diverticulitis, Pneumonia, Pancreatitis, Appendicitis, Angiography patients, Laparoscopy.
•Initiated intravenous (IV) lines and gathered blood samples.
•Supported physicians in performing procedures including lumbar tap, chest tube insertion, central line insertion, and patience crash.
1.Assessment and Diagnosis:
•Conduct thorough health assessments of critically ill patients.
•Diagnose and identify the severity of illnesses.
•Monitor changes in patients' conditions.
2.Treatment Planning:
•Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments.
•Coordinate with the healthcare team to determine appropriate interventions.
•Interpret diagnostic tests.
3. Advanced Procedures:
• Support the physicians to perform advanced procedures such as intubation, central line placement, and arterial line insertion.
• Administer specialized medications and treatments.
4. Monitoring and Surveillance:
• Continuously monitor vital signs and other relevant patient parameters.
• Use advanced monitoring equipment to track physiological responses.
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition.
5. Collaboration and Communication:
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing updates and addressing concerns.
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds to discuss patient cases.
6. Education and Support:
• Educate patients and their families about the patient's condition, treatment plan.
• Provide emotional support to patients and families during challenging times.
• Offer guidance on post-discharge care and recovery.
7. Quality Improvement:
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical protocols and guidelines.
8. Documentation:
• Maintain accurate and thorough medical records.
• Document interventions, responses to treatment, and changes in patient status.
