- Observership rotation in the department of Cardiology gave significant exposure to the epidemiology of cardiovascular diseases in Internal Medicine. The responsibilities were attending the morning report of Internal Medicine residency program, morning rounds with the cardiology team, attending the lectures everyday given by the cardiology faculty to the Internal Medicine residents and cardiology fellows ,attending grand rounds every week, observing the internal medicine residents and cardiology fellows during their cardiology consults and in the outpatient clinics, participating in the team activities along with other international observers. This rotation gave a wonderful opportunity to understand how a residency program works in the United States.
