  • I started this position with Gas Technologies as a ground floor level opportunity, as lead plant operator for Bass. I also helped with the completion of 34-1, 3-11-1, 33-1, 27-1 wells for BOPCO. I oversaw the construction of and facilitated the startup of the Yellow Creek Gas Plant, and personally performed all maintenance, cleaning, and re-fabrication to make sure the gas plant was operational. I also initiated the hiring of Bass employees in Colorado, and scheduled all plant and field shutdowns, pipeline tie-ins, field compression installations, pipeline pigging operations, and contract labor help. Other duties included ordering of all parts, and supplies needed for the operation of the plant, and any other duties that needed attention. I had taken the responsibility to ensure that the jobs were done to the best of my abilities in accordance with Mark Corley, P.E., in Fort Worth, TX.

  • I started at American Soda in the test phase as a plant operator, maintenance man and welder. I was hired with American Soda, a division of Williams International, to help with the operational and maintenance needs for the commercial $ 400 million project. I was slated to be the Maintenance Supervisor and Planner for the commercial facility. As the test phase was ending, I was asked to consider an Operational Supervisory position as opposed to Maintenance Supervisor. I accepted this responsibility which entailed: well operational duties, well field pumping duties, booster pump stations, plant standard operational procedures, training of new employees, liquefying CO2, plant operations, RO unit operations, CO2 stripping, 350-pound Foster Wheeler Boiler operations, NH3 compressor operations, steam vapor recompression, N2 vaporization, operation of 88 miles of 12” pipeline, and emergency generation. Other duties entailed pump maintenance, plant and field shut down scheduling, new drilling and well hook-ups, as well as pipeline tie-ins. PERSONAL

My work history ranges from plumbing, truck driver, pipe and fitting sales, owner of AP mechanical and contract rig welding, shift foreman with American Soda LLP, and currently owner of T.C.O. Part of my duties with American Soda was construction oversight for the commercial facilities for the plant and field. I was part of a team that oversaw construction of the 400-million-dollar facility with 24 dual completion wells and 2 – 12” pipelines running from the Piceance creek basin to Parachute, CO. After construction, and loop checks for all monitored equipment was complete, I began my duties as shift foreman and maintenance assistant. Unfortunately, after 5 years, energy prices were a factor in the success of the operation and the company was going to be downsized and eventually shut down. I took the opportunity to take a position with J.E. Merit/EXXON Mobil at this time. There I oversaw gas plant and compressor operations, relief pumping and SWD operations. I moved on to Bass Enterprises where I managed the gas plant, refrigeration, DeHi, pipeline & tank battery construction. It was also my duty to operate the gas plant, compressors, well facilities and perform pigging operations. I also oversaw the installation of all new well booster compressors, flowlines, pig launcher and receiver installations. It was also my responsibility to assist with the oversight of frac and work-over operations on high pressure gas wells. These duties enabled me to move up to production foreman for Bass Enterprise. I continued to work for Bass while I began to pursue my own business desires again in 2007. In 2008 working both jobs began to take away too much time from my family, so I made the decision to leave Bass Enterprise & work full time for my own business, T.C.O. Our duties with T.C.O. include plant and compressor operations, well operations including pumping, gas lift ops, completion and work-over supervision. I have a lot of experience in new equipment commissioning, construction management/supervision for gas plants, compressor, refrigeration, DeHi, Liquid C02 injection ops, C02 stripping and liquifying ops, tank battery hook-ups, many forms of EOR ops, including 02 stripping for N2 injection on P.S.A facilities and N2 stripping on V.S.A facilities for fire flood ops. I have installed and operated vapor recovery systems and helped with all facility designs. T.C.O has managed all aspects of the energy industry from initial completions to pilot EOR ops. I was also responsible for writing field SOPs for Shell in their land-based ops for the Waddle Creek field in NW Colo. We were also required by Shell to shoot and monitor fluid levels through the drilling period to watch for well communication. We have training in SPCC & SWMP, Tier II reporting, as well as keeping in compliance with all the new rules & regulations for 0 flare and emissions hurdles currently challenging our industry. T.C.O is proud of its safety program, and to date has only 1 reportable or lost time injuries since it was formed in 2007.
