• Led a staff of 10 engineers and introduced Scrum methodology to conduct Java development, quality assurance, and software configuration management for the company. The team streamlined the development and delivery of the company’s industry-leading portfolio management software for the banking industry to deliver a minor release of the platform every quarter and a major release each year, with each enterprise installment earning an average of $3M-$5M annually.

• Led software development, core infrastructure, and IT services at this nonprofit biotechnology research firm. Projects included: Development of Web-based genomic exploration and information resources, software applications for high throughput sequencing projects, web applications for population genetics and molecular diagnostics research, semantic web technology projects, technical infrastructure for wet lab sequencing, NIH/NSF grant proposal development, and external and internal web site development.
