Additional Information

To whom it may concern,

I am writing to express my interest in the position the adjunct A&P professor position at Trine University, as advertised. With a robust background in anatomy and physiology as a physical therapist, I am eager to bring my skills and dedication to your team.

Throughout my career as an orthopedic physical therapist, I have consistently pursued opportunities to expand my expertise and enhance patient outcomes. My journey into physical therapy began with intensive coursework and clinical training of the entire human body. I studies intensive graduate coursework in anatomy and physiology, as well as advanced coursework in the cardiopulmonary, neurological, and musculoskeletal systems. At University of Texas-Medical Branch where I gained a solid foundation in assessing and treating movement dysfunction as well and a strong foundation in differential diagnosis. This formal education was further complemented by mentorship under renowned practitioners in the field, enabling me to develop advanced skills in rehabilitation techniques.

I am particularly drawn to Trine due to its reputation for it's delivery of high quality academic programs and it's ability to offer online education to it's students. As a single mom who was able to obtain a degree through 50% online coursework, then advance to graduate school, I understand the value of offering virtual education. If not for the opportunity to engage in online coursework, I would have been unable to care for my son, work, and finish college. I have a passion for anatomy and physiology and would welcome the opportunity to share that knowledge and passion with others.

Thank you for considering my application. I look forward to the possibility of discussing how my qualifications make me an ideal candidate for the adjunct professor position at Trine University. Please feel free to contact me at 832-269-1829 or via email at AlanaPalumbos@gmail.com to schedule a convenient time for us to speak further.

Sincerely,
Alana Palumbos PT, DPT
