When watching my 10 yar old nephew, 9 year old niece, and 6 month niece I:

• Improve child safety by vigilantly monitoring play areas and consistently enforcing rules.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment to ensure their well-being.
• Handle conflicts between them effectively using conflict resolution techniques resulting in a more peaceful household.
• Ensure proper hygiene by teaching them about personal cleanliness thus promoting good health habits.
• Play games, work on puzzles, and read books with them.
• Reassure them when they get upset providing emotional support and stability.
• Assist them with homework assignments and special projects.
• Administer medications, following strict instructions from my brother and medical labels.
• Monitor their play activities to verify safety.
• Encourage them to be understanding and patient with others.
• Organize and clean the home after activities by picking up toys and straightening up the play room.
• Offer emotional support by actively listening to their concerns and responding empathetically while fostering their problem-solving abilities.
• Foster creativity by engaging arts and crafts projects stimulating imagination and expression.

I have taken care of my brother's cat from time to time. I have taken care of a friends dogs while they were out of town as well. I played with them, made sure they were fed, cleaned, groomed, and well loved. I also made sure to take things away that could potentially cause harm to the them.
