Position Overview: I am Responsible for handling the needs of customers, processing documentation that accompanies the movement of freight, and performing other administrative and customer service duties as necessary in the daily operation of the service center. Essential Functions: Perform administrative functions that includes, maintaining files, copying, imaging, answering phones, data entry and billing. Assist customers by phone, e-mail and fax by responding to shipments Questions and issues. Assist city operations by checking-in drivers and processing related documentation. Make sure all Bills of Lading are accurate and ready to be billed. I make sure all Delivery Receipts are correct with the right piece count and date. I perform reconsignments when the customer wants the shipment to go to a new address. I also perform relinquishment’s when the customer wants to rescue the shipment from our service center. I enter pick-up calls in the system . I prepare and deposits customers COD and company checks.
