- Partnered with public schools and their administrators in East Baton Rouge Parish to reach teenagers living in the inner city.
- Provided a space for teenagers to come after school to do homework, have a meal, and engage in positive relationships with our adults, and their peers.
- Counseled teenagers on relationships, peer pressure, self-esteem, familial struggles, loss, and conflict resolution. Often, I pointed teens to resources they might need for each issue. (i.e. Professional counseling, food pantries, and beyond.
- Facilitated community-building events, and provided three to four days a week of youth programming at our center.
