  • In the mornings I would have to clean 24 stalls between two barns
  • Friesians of Majesty did camps for younger girls and adults, to teach them how to ride along with the common cares that one horse would need
  • We would also do semen collections, bus shows, tours, carriage rides, and a lot of veterinary work

  • Weaning claves every three weeks moving them to the barns that they would go into based on ages and size, helping with some heard health, and help check heifers to see how their pregnancy is going if there are any problems

  • During these shifts the duties were getting the polar ready for milking set up the milk house and then switch all the lines over in the polar
  • After getting things ready it is time to go get the first group after first group is done that is when second group needs to start heading into the polar
  • After second group is done there is a break that gives you time to get things cleaned up and get the bottles ready for the calf feeder and then third group starts to come
  • Isolated and treated livestock showing signs of illness to prevent infectious spread among herd
  • Milked cows by hand or with mechanized equipment
  • Conducted regular preventive maintenance tasks and repairs on milking equipment and stalls.

  • Milking in an 86 Stanton barn milking night 9pm-11pm
  • The duties of this job were to get the milk house ready get all the milkers set up
  • After getting everything ready the feed had to be pushed up before and after milking after milking the lines needed to be cleaned out and the automatic feeder needed to be filled up, put the feed up clean up automatic waters
