• Supervising associate’s performance to ensure quality of labor.

· Responsible for monitoring daily ER visits, admissions, and discharges, and coordinating comprehensive discharge planning and transitions of care.

· Works collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, patients, families, and external facilities to ensure timely and appropriate care post-hospitalization.

· Duties include care planning, service coordination (e.g., hospice, home care, dialysis medical equipment), documentation in EMRs, insurer authorizations, and addressing barriers to discharge while safeguarding patients’ rights.

· Manages purchase orders from major retail chains (Wal-Mart, Sam’s, Costco, Walgreens), coordinating timely product deliveries with distribution centers and overseeing the complete billing process.

· Uses Wal-Mart’s Retail Link system daily to generate key reports and ensure smooth operational performance.
