Startup of greenfield plant T1 Automotive-Tesla supplier with an annual turnover of $400M, with assembly and injection molding processes, implementing systems and procedures for controls and compliance, overseeing financial and investment budget preparation and forecasting processes, analysis and presentations to upper management, including, but not limited to, P&L, Balance Sheet, and Free Cash Flow position, internal and external audits responsible, coaching, mentoring, and influencing others to achieve plant goals, quality system member, weekly review of plant metrics, sales, inventory, capex, OT, debits from customers, efficiency, and past due AR, legal compliance officer.

Reports to: Director of Finance Americas.

• Company Overview: Responsible for a Heavy-Duty Manufacturing Plant located on 50 acres complex dedicated to produce quality float glass, coating and tempered products for commercial and automotive market with equivalent annual sales of +US$300M and +500 employees.
• Responsible for building the Annual Operating and Capital Plan, preparation of monthly and quarterly forecast to measure progress.
• Active member in the development of the company's plans and programs as a strategic partner and identify risk and opportunities.
• Enhance, implement and enforce policies and procedures of the organization to improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the plant.
• Daily tracking of plant KPl's.
• Conducts period close of financial records. Prepare analysis and disseminate financial reports for internal and external customers.
• Inventory control (FG, Batch, MRO) and providing support for physical inventories and perpetual transactions and ensure their accuracy.
• Review, validate and tracking of plant Hoshins to ensure this are within plan, active participation in Six Sigma projects thru the Vitro Excellence Model.
• Preparation and validation of new products costing and profitability.
• Preparation, analysis and submission of new capital projects.
• Work with external auditors to ensure correct and timely closing and reporting at year-end (including balance sheet, income statements, income tax and tax filings), direct interact with internal audit team to ensure plant is in compliance in all areas.
• Work closely with treasury and procurement to ensure AP terms are in line to avoid supply disruptions.
• Attorney in fact for the site and risk management including insurance, legal matters, contracts and agreements review.
• Supervision, coaching and mentoring of staff (5) controllership, accounting, costing, IT, Inventory.
• Responsible for a Heavy-Duty Manufacturing Plant located on 50 acres complex dedicated to produce quality float glass, coating and tempered products for commercial and automotive market with equivalent annual sales of +US$300M and +500 employees.
• Change mentality and influence for the new Vitro methodology.
• Implement new storeroom and process.
• SAP Fl-CO and ARIBA implementation in the site.
• Reduce supply disruptions by below 3% by improve AP process.

• Company Overview: Financial responsible for a Multidivisional Manufacturing Plant and Distribution Center with equivalent annual sales of +US$150M and +1,100 employees. Tier 1 Automotive supplier with assembly, molding, die casting and extrusion process.
• Monthly/Quarterly/Annual preparation and analysis of Financial Statements; Preparation and control of the Operational and Investment Budgets and Rolling Forecast; Partnership with Plant Manager in set and meet goals objectives; Controllership and fulfillment of legal and fiscal affairs; Legal Officer; Oversaw general accounting functions including, product costing and quoting, inventory controls and analysis, US and Mexican tax obligations and planning, A/P, A/R, Treasury, Fixed assets control, Import/Export and IS&T; Sarbanes Oxley compliance, Statutory and Internal audit compliance, Member of executive management, Reviewed and implementation of all Corporate Policies and Procedures for a cultural and operational fit in USA and Mexico; Interact with VP of Finance and Division President concerning financial forecast and plant performance.
• Report to: Divisional VP of Finance and dotted line to Plant Manager. .. have 10 direct reports (Incl. IT and Customs).

• Achieved economic incentives from Mexican Gov't by $200K USO in 2008/2009.
• Achieved reduction in taxes by $100K USO in 2008 through correct Income Tax law application.
• Negotiation with landlord on buildings leases in 2015 with benefits by $936KUSD in 5 years period.
• Maintained AR past due at >2% and overall NWC at above budget.
• Rolling Forecast accuracy at 97%.
• Improved EBIT year over year by 3% through spending control and savings ideas.
• Smooth implementation-transition into SAP from IPICS in 4 months period in 2011.
• Start up new plant in Saltillo, Mexico for a new product transfer from USA, including transfer of equipment, negotiate lease for new building, hire and build new finance team, establish internal controls, implementation and setup SAP and Hyperion for corporate reporting.

• Company Overview: Responsible for Manufacturing site with +$60M in annual sales and 500 Headcount.
• Preparation and analysis of Financial Statements; preparation and control of Operational and Investment Budgets; Controllership and fulfillment of legal and fiscal affairs; Attendee External and Internal Auditors; Supervisor and support in preparation of General Accounting, product costing, inventory analysis and control, treasury, A/P, fixed assets, Accounts analysis and lntercompany reconciliations, internal controls, tax obligations and planning, Administration of Human Resources and payroll. Team: two accountants, and one cost clerk.
• Supervisor: US Corporate Controller and Mexico Operations Director.
• Responsible for Manufacturing site with +$60M in annual sales and 500 Headcount.
• Start-up operations in a 200K sq. ft. complex.
• Implementation of procedures and systems for a new operation in Mexico.
• Successful transfer of operations from USA into Mexico.

• Preparation of general ledger, financial statements, product costing, cash flow report, calculation of tax obligations, calculation of B-10 and D-4 bulletin, Human resources and payroll administration, Sales control, A/P and A/R procedures, attending external auditors, internal control procedures implementations, safeguarding of all legal documents.
• Report to: North America Controller.

• Preparation of monthly tax reports for northeast branches, annual tax return preparation complete and prepare tax package for CNBV, monthly analysis of all tax accounts in general ledger and depuration of them, auditor of tax issues in regional branches.
