I work with a small team to make fire apparatus ready for services.

We take new fire trucks and get the m ready for services. This includes installing all fire equipment and decaling. installing shelf's and pac track, saws, hydraulic units. flash lights. EMS cabinets, all flash lights, in the cab. And installing air packs.

As the Fleet Manager for the City I managed and over saw several contracts.

*Managed the Fleet maintenance contract

Towing contract. Autobody contract, Assetwork contract, Fleet auction contract. Feet Fuel contract. Fuel card contract.

* Developed the RFP for these contracts.

Managed a $11 million budget

* Oversaw end-to-end lifecycle management of vehicles, from acquisition to disposal, maximizing asset value throughout their life span.

* Developed strong relationships with vendors, resulting in cost-effective procurement of parts

and services.

* Analyzed data on vehicle usage to identify trends and recommend improvements for fleet utilization.

* Hired Employees.

Worked with Risk Management on all accident and damages to help reduce cost.

Developed specs for new vehicle including up fitting and cost.

* The City used Assetwork as the Fleet Maintenance software. I managed all aspect of its use. In putting new units in to the system. Managing new employees into the system. Managing fuel usage with Assteworks. Inputting all history of vehicles including all maintenance cost.

*Oversaw fleet operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and maintenance standards.

*Negotiated contracts with external service providers, securing favorable terms that reduced costs without compromising quality standards or turnaround times.

• Responsible for overseeing maintenance and repairs on City of Arlington’s light duty fleet at the North Service Center (NSC).
• Manage and coordinated all up fitting and up grades to all City of Arlington light and medium duty vehicles including decaling, light bar / siren, lighting.
• Scheduling and implementing a daily work plan for the shop including night shift to obtain location and customer goals and objectives.
• Directly responsible for day shift technicians work and training.
• Diagnosis of vehicles and assign work to technicians to ensure prompt repairs.
• Involved in the hiring process of technicians.
• Assist in the parts room to charge out parts as needed.
• State Inspection certified and license.
• Perform state inspections on City vehicles and maintain Inspection Station logs and inventory of stickers.
