In the 18 yrs I worked for STD, I learned a lot of valuable life skills I posses now, from CPR to Histology in the lab, Equipment/Instrument maintenance, Suturing, Local Anesthesia, First aid and some emergency care, and most importantly my customer service skills. We worked with people from all walks of life and helped them when they were in need of good health care, understanding and compassion.

Skin Cancer was the main focus in my last 10 years there, which allowed me to spend hundreds of hours in the operating room in thousands of surgical procedures. I learned to be comfortable in high pressure situations.
