Achievements Overview:
Throughout my three years of work experience, I developed a strong foundation of skills and accomplishments that I am proud of, despite the challenges presented by the pandemic.
1. Dedication to Education: During the quarantine period, I prioritized my education and successfully completed my freshman year, ensuring I stayed on track academically. I adapted to remote learning and maintained a focus on my studies, demonstrating resilience and commitment.
2. Work Experience: Throughout my three years of work, I gained valuable hands-on experience, especially in roles that involved direct interaction with children and families. This experience taught me the importance of empathy, patience, and effective communication, all of which are essential in the medical field.
3. Skill Development: My work allowed me to cultivate essential skills such as leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving. By running sports activities and working closely with children, I became adept at managing groups, fostering a positive environment, and resolving conflicts, which I believe are crucial in any healthcare setting.
4. Building Future Goals: With my sights set on a career in healthcare, I have actively researched and explored roles such as nursing and medical administrative assistance. I am driven by a desire to make a positive impact on people's lives and believe that my background working with children and families has equipped me with the relevant skills needed to thrive in a hospital environment.

My experiences have shaped my goal of building a fulfilling life for myself within the healthcare industry. I am excited about the prospect of applying my skills in a meaningful way, contributing to the well-being of others.
As an intern with the San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD), I had the opportunity to work closely with children in various capacities, particularly through my role in running a sports Program of the Day (POD). This experience not only allowed me to engage with students in a fun and dynamic environment but also helped me develop a range of relevant skills that are transferable to roles in healthcare, such as working in a hospital or as an assistant.
