Alec Wood

In my seven years at Draper I have had the opportunity to work in many positions of the manufacturing process. One opportunity includes learning and operating all the cutting machines for shade manufacturing. I have also had the opportunity to work with many of the shade products Draper produces including clutch operated , battery operated , twin pull ,and motorized shades. I have gained the knowledge of many cloths and parts used in the manufacturing process. In my time at Draper I have become very knowledgeable and efficient with the Mac Pac and PVS computer system used on the manufacturing floor. With the tools I have obtained in my time at Draper I feel like I have the ability to be a team leader and to be a valuable resource for my coworkers. In addition to my technical skills I have trained many coworkers developing a good rapport along with communicating skills and knowledge needed.I would be an excellent fit for the position of Team Leader.
