Key Responsibilities:

1. Operational Oversight:

  • Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, and expense management for the pump center.

Develop and implement strategies to improve patient care and satisfaction.

4. Marketing and Outreach:

Create and execute marketing plans to promote the pump center and its services.

• Maintain a detailed spreadsheet of all pump starts, tracking patient progress and

6. Remote Monitoring Program:

• Oversee the remote monitoring program for insulin pump patients, ensuring timely data collection and analysis.

Collaborate with healthcare teams to address any issues identified through remote monitoring.

7. Personalized Care Plans:

  • Develop and implement personalized care plans for all insulin pump patients, tailored to individual needs and preferences.
  • Conduct regular follow-up visits to assess progress, adjust treatment plans, and provide ongoing support.

8. Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards of care.
  • Continuously assess and improve processes to enhance the quality of patient care.

It was a temporary program that the state of Tennessee put into place to help the elderly or disabled during the COVID-19 pandemic. As a shopping technician, I was required to grocery shop for my customers, handle a safe and contactless delivery of their groceries, and do paperwork, which included keeping up with my hours and mileage during each delivery. I was also required to get the word out about the program in my designated area. In doing so, I called, emailed, and visited places all over my community where I thought the program could be beneficial. During my time at Southwest Human Resources, I was able to grow in many key areas from which I continue to see benefits. This job has helped expand my time management skills, and has overall made me more responsible, altogether.
