We verify documents and ensure that we're actually issuing a document to a Mexican citizen. We explain the importance of carrying this document, which is required for any type of procedure. However, our work included organizing our country's political elections, which required working under pressure and with a lot of patience. I loved my job; it was always satisfying to have that close contact with the population and my ability to communicate with them in a way that made them feel comfortable and secure. I had to leave my job due to my move to this country, where there are also many opportunities to continue serving the citizens in one way or another.
