As a Transportation Correctional Officer, I have developed extensive experience in inmate transport operations, conflict resolution, and emergency response, while consistently maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. I am highly skilled in enforcing security protocols, monitoring inmate behavior, and coordinating effectively with correctional staff and outside law enforcement agencies to ensure safe, efficient operations. My experience has strengthened my ability to make sound decisions under pressure, lead in critical situations, and maintain accountability in high-risk environments.

I have successfully performed daily van and weekly bus assignments with minimal supervision, demonstrating reliability, independence, and strong operational awareness. As a Hub Utility Officer (HUO), I was responsible for preparing detailed transportation schedules and reports, ensuring accuracy, readiness, and operational efficiency.

In leadership roles, I have served as an Acting Sergeant and was appointed as an Out-of-Class (OOC) Sergeant in January 2026, with my assignment extended based on performance. In this capacity, I have demonstrated the ability to supervise staff, manage transportation operations, and uphold departmental standards while continuing to lead by example in the field.

I have extensive experience conducting intake processes, including working with female incarcerated persons, and have completed multiple out-of-state extraditions. I have also participated in Special Operations in collaboration with various law enforcement agencies throughout California, reinforcing my ability to operate effectively in multi-agency environments. I have also accomplished Flying armed with Extraditions unit, also i have completed multiple Extraditions from out of state back to state.

While assigned to the Central Transportation Unit (CTU), I have completed Training for Trainers (T4T) and earned certifications as a Rangemaster, in Weapons Retention, Alarm Response, and as an ASP Instructor, Use Of Force Instructor. I am also trained in Trauma-Informed Practices and Contact Skills, further supporting my ability to lead, train, and mentor staff.
