  • I started at the Marriott as a line cook in the on sight Restaurant Formaggio
  • I excelled in that position for 1.5 years gaining valuable experience in Italian cuisine
  • I was able to contribute in many ways but my favorite was when I was able to put together the daily specials
  • I then applied for and got the Lead Banquet Cook position
  • After 2 years on the Lead Banquet Cook position the sous chef position was open
  • I applied and got the position.

  • In this position I was responsible for training the managers that were going through their M.I.T program
  • I enjoyed teaching and training so much I decided to join the Tiger Team traveling to train staff and open new locations
  • After 3 years of this I decide to go through the M.I.T
  • Program myself and became a successful manager not just as an assistant kitchen manager but pulling double duty in the front of the house as well.
