My experience as a field engineer has been interesting. My role has given me an opportunity to grab knowledge and experience from Project engineers, Superintendents, and forman. (Project Engineer) I would assist with ASI's, replying to RFI's, and have some experience in closing projects. (Superintendent) Was taught to read, comminate, and summit change orders. Learned how to communicate and provide correct information to city inspectors, architects, project managers, general and sub contractors. Documenting progress of job sites and assuring the progress made followed the plans. (Foreman) Was taught to organize crew and the importance of time efficiency , gather the right amount of material needed per plan, communicated with vendors, collected samples, and how to use Plangrid.
