In an educational/consultative non-profit of approximately 70, manage a team of 7 with the Executive Director with monthly 1-hour meetings, events, frequent resource management, and ad-hoc training as needed, to increase brand recognition, raise funds, create and strengthen partnerships, advocate for sustainability, and enhance the experience gained of student members.
- Fostered relationships with 10+ sustainability-minded businesses to increase brand recognition, quantity of “Project Partners”, coordinate mutual projects, and contribute to a more sustainable society; examples include Green Living Magazine, Leslie’s Pool Supplies, and Little Cholla of Culdesac.
- Presented GreenLight Solutions at 10+ public and private Phoenix events, at least once per quarter, to gain new partnerships and members; several of these events had greater than 10k attendees; examples include Mesa Marathon, M3F, and Little Cholla at Culdesac.
- Taught approximately 20 engineering students from the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology the GreenLight Guidelines to enable a project with Alarivean, a Scottsdale company creating an innovative solution to detoxifying large water bodies, resulting in an increase of GreenLight partners and 3 new innovations.
- Enhanced member engagement and created guidance toward common goals via monthly meetings, group and individual action items, post-meeting minutes, plans for future events, feedback of past events/meetings, and more.
- Supported market growth by utilizing a data tool to identify and target potentially relevant businesses for outreach and expansion efforts, resulting in a robust set of contacts in a short amount of time.
- Strengthened the confidence and preparedness of members presenting GreenLight at public events by creating easy-to-use digital and physical support materials and “what-to-know” communications prior to the events.
- Improved the effectiveness of lead and regular members by facilitating ad-hoc training sessions supplemented by presentation materials and usable resources.
- Developed and implemented comprehensive recruitment strategies and onboarding processes, successfully attracting and integrating approximately 8 new members into the organization within 1 year.
- Developed KPIs such as “social media posts created”, “events attended”, “amount fundraised”, and “‘GreenLight Glow’ members attained” to track performance.
- Co-developed comprehensive internal operations guidelines documents to standardize processes, improve team efficiency, and ensure consistent adherence to best practices across the organization.
