- Working at Trader Joe's has given me many opportunities to put my skills to good use. I got to interact with customers almost every minute, and even had regulars that would remember me and come through my line just to say "hi". Working this job helped me to strengthen my already adept sense of time by having me and other co-workers on tight, revolving schedules. I also got to become more confident in my own knowledge and abilities by doing all possible duties that the store had to offer me. Although it is very fun, versatile, and rewarding, it is also very physical. Although the physicality can actually be pretty enjoyable, it's been pretty hard on my body because of previous injuries. I'm now looking for somewhere where I can put my good skills to use; still interacting with customers while also being a little bit easier on my body.

- Working at DICK'S Sporting Goods helped me to practice excellent customer service, making sure that I'm genuinely kind and welcoming to everyone who walks into the store. I personally helped people with whatever they needed - answering calls, ringing them up at the registers, and helping them decide which equipment suited them best. I gained some extra work experience here unloading and merchandising truck loads as well. Although I truly enjoyed this role in customer service, I eventually sought another position because they cut everyone's hours. I wanted to find somewhere to work hard and put effort into a company that can use my abilities/assistance more often.

- During my time at Stater Bros, I learned a lot about exceeding my own expectations and what it meant to really work hard. I was promoted multiple times in my first couple months and gained experience through being a bagger, a general merchandise clerk, and a produce clerk. I also worked with the truck in the back rooms and pushed out merchandise. Working here also helped me to practice working as a team since I was in a small station for a couple months, working with 3-4 other coworkers where clear communication and accountability was required every day.
