I finished in first place with a time of 21:14 in all of region 3 of the NJCAA at the regional competition. I also finished in first place at the conference meet that occurred before it. After winning the regional championship, I went to the national championship in Richmond Virginia, where I ran against more than 100 other junior college athletes and finished in 18th place over all. I completed that race with a personal best time of 21:10.
