
Ph.D Candidate in Atmospheric Science at Rutgers University. Graduate from the University of Maryland, majored in Atmospheric and Oceanic Science with a minor in Sustainability. Interested in research involving climate modeling and/or forecasting through data assimilation.
Conducting research into the large-scale meteorological and physical processes impacting extreme winter warmth. Project utilizes data analysis and unsupervised machine learning for reanalysis datasets and climate models. Work conducted will be on the scale of a typical Ph.D. dissertation.
Teaching Assistant for Synoptic and Mesoscale Meteorology courses at Rutgers University. Duties include facilitating class discussions, grading Python and homework assignments, as well as offering office hours to review material.

Developing a lightning detection system for the greater Washington DC are using Raspberry Pi technology, then using our observations to validate the accuracy of the Global Lightning Mapper and perform a case study on the physical properties of lightning.
Duties include preparing graphics and maps displaying storm path projections and national weather patterns and using MetOps software to develop national, regional and local forecasts.
Works alongside tours coordinator to design the semester tour route and improve overall tour quality for the 150+ active tour guides. Required to hold office hours 4 hours a week along with attending all events related to Maryland Images Campus Tour Guides.

Researcher for the Cloud Computing Stream of the FIRE program at the University of Maryland. Worked alongside three other undergraduates to create clusters of convective cores based on vertical wind velocity.
Demonstrated water safety and swimming techniques to students of varying skill levels. Rescued swimmers in danger of drowning, responded to other emergencies and performed appropriate follow-up procedures. 40 hours a week time committment.
