Aiken High School Student Teaching Experience- Fall 2023

• Worked with students with moderate to intense disabilities.
• Provided specialized instruction in content areas of math.

Spring Practicum at Western Row- Spring 2023

• Worked with a student in this special education school.
• Planned and instructed literacy lessons once a week.
• Instructed lessons on literacy and functional skills.
• Coordinated with the teacher to learn more about the student and the different ways he communicates with teachers.
• Communicated with him in ways other than talking and used that to help him read and develop literacy skills.

Arlitt Education Center- Spring 2023

• Worked in a preschool on the University of Cincinnati's campus as a student worker.

• Instructed through play time and outside time to activate learning rather than just lessons throughout the day.

Fall Practicum at Learning Center at North Norwood- 2022

• Observed the classroom for three hours once a week for six weeks
• Observed students with different behaviors and how the teachers handled these behaviors
• Communicated with the teacher about insight into this school and the different types of students that she works with every year
