I hand pick sweet corn for Travis and Jim Schuhammer. Its some of the hardest work you could imagine we start at 5 am 6 days a week and pick for 3 hours to get the corn to the stores before they open. We pick 60 ears of corn then dump that into the tractor bucket and repeat with no breaks.

I work as a gas dock hand on weekends. I fill boats up and have to do it a safe maner to keep all fuel out of the water. I use my people skills and money counting to keep all my costumers happy.

• Planted bulbs, trees, bushes and flowers for residential and commercial clients.
• Installed underground sprinkler systems to provide grass and gardens with adequate water supply.
• Maintained various types of flower beds by removing spent flowers, pulling weeds and edging.
• Removed weeds, hazards and debris from common pathways to improve usability.
• Operated skid steers, wheel loaders, forklifts and yard goats.
• Performed planting, watering, mulching and edging of lawns.

• Trimmed greenery, shrubs and hedges to maintain uniform appearance.
• Prepped trimming tools by sharpening shears, grinders and saw teeth.
• Used shears, pruners and chainsaws to prune and trim hedges and shrubs.
• Limbed and pruned variety of tree species.
• Mixed fertilizer with dirt to enrich soil, placed trees in holes and filled holes with dirt.
• Chopped and trimmed trees and operated chipping equipment for limbs.
• Operated shredding and chipping equipment and fed limbs and brush into machines.
• Removed dead and excess branches from trees.

• Installed valves, hangers, supports and flanges inside piping systems.
• Selected type and size of piping required for each project.
• Fabricated piping pieces and components in line with design specifications for each system.
• Measured, threaded and cut materials to correct angles.
• Set up appliances like water heaters, filters and dishwashers with correct settings to maximize performance.
• Eliminated risks by correctly identifying potential safety hazards.
• Loaded and unloaded building materials weighing up to 150 pounds to prepare materials for construction.
• Cut and drilled holes in walls to permit passage of pipes.
