What I bring to the table is a heart of service and dedication to excellence, absolute confidence to deliver consistent high quality meals for guest, a business mind with clarity of vision, knack for food presentation, and leadership skills that stand out as a true professional...enhancing the positive atmosphere of every kitchen environment that I have worked in.


Just recently, I have been the Personal Head Chef at the famous Palomar Mt Observatory, where we served high quality 5 star restaurant food of all ethnic back grounds. Including Indian, Chinese, Italian, French, Mexican, Thai, and more!


Before I was the Head Chef, there were no systems to food inventory or food service. After I arrived, we totally and completely transformed the entire space to be a high performance kitchen serving some of the best food ever (not to mention revamping all the systems and procedures)!

Two testimonials we got consistently are..."this is seriously the best food I have eaten!" & "Out of all the observatories worldwide, this is the best food out of all of them!"

  • I have been the Head Personal Chef in charge of preparing and serving meals for small dinner parties (4-12 people) to the scientific and astronomical community at the Palomar Observatory.
  • My expertise has been 1) supervising the overall food operation in the kitchen, 2) being responsible for the preparation of all foods, 3) ensuring the efficiency of the kitchen operation, 4) carrying out all responsibilities with absolute control, 5) maintaining positive guest relations, 6) maximizing cost effectiveness, and 7) going above and beyond expectations with food flavors, presentation, and dining experience.
  • I also have had to consistently meet all dietary requests and special accommodations, including vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. Not to mention having to strategize and create well balanced dinner menus from scratch, including appetizers, main courses, and desserts for all guest - each day.
  • I also re-vamped the entire kitchens cooking systems as well as transformed food quality to 5 star restaurant quality. My responsibilities included quality control, food inventory, maintenance of clean kitchen environment, maintenance of food storage systems, and maintaining an elevated kitchen atmosphere.
  • I also studied cuisines of various areas around world, where I prepared authentic ethnic foods - including Indian food, Thai food, Japanese food, Chinese food, Mexican food, Italian food, and more.
