I am an undergraduate from the University of California, Santa Cruz. I'm hardworking and educated. I am the type of person that is analytical and detail oriented. I'm seeking to expand and assess my skills to eventually become a viable asset in a professional workplace. I am motivated and eager to learn and grow along with others to achieve new goals and get the job done.
This job consisted of a variety of different job tasks including: line serving, working in the dish room, prepping food in the kitchen/assisting the chefs, working as a liaison for the chef, making pizzas, cleaning/mopping floors, making smoothies, and putting away and organizing all the cargo shipments in the mornings. Interacting with customers to be able to attend their needs.
This job solely consisted of taking orders, preparing meals, packaging food items, preparing foods and ingredients, opening and closing store, and cleaning every night. Learned how to deal with dissatisfied customers and keep my composure to be able to display adequate customer service skills.
In charge of shipping and handling solvent cement products. I would work in the assembly line as well where I would make sure each machine line was running as smooth as possibly, if not I would have to fix any errors the machines might have on a computer.
Coordinator at an After School Program called NYA (Neighborhood Youth Association). I was in charge of supervising middle school and high school students and involved in lesson planning activities that serve to aspire their personal and educational goals. I have also tutored students and acted as a guidance counselor to help troubled teens struggling in school and at home to provide a sense of comfort and help. I have attended this program ever since I was in Elementary School and currently am an Alumni and past recipient of their scholarship program awarded to me the past 4 years in college.
Learning Facilitator at another After School Program called LA's BEST. I would help mentor and assist with learning opportunities for middle school students.
Involved in Outreach Programs that help homeless people throughout the city of LA by administering food and shelter.
I've had the opportunity to teach at a school where I served as a teacher for a day, at Moffett Elementary School. Taught Math and English for a full day once a year for my sophomore year and senior year of high school. This taught me leadership roles in being able to communicate and analyze students to be able to get their attention and remain focused.
