As a commercial diver, I am comfortable and experienced in multiple environments, including working in low visibility ports and at anchorage. I have extensive experience diving on cruise ships, bulk carriers, cargo ships, car carriers, dredges, and barges. My previous responsibilities as a diving supervisor included conducting vessel lockouts, documenting before-and-after hull cleaning operations, preparing and delivering the completed reports. I was also responsible for coordinating directly with local agents, class surveyors, and crews to organize a variety of jobs, including UWILD class inspections with measurements, sell and purchase inspections, hull cleanings (including NZ/AUS standard hull cleaning), scrubber inspections, entanglement removal, echo sounder/speed log replacement, and sacrificial anode installation. I have completed class inspections as both an inspection diver and supervisor for NK, KR, ABS, DNV, LR, and BV.

As a Protective Security Specialist in Israel, I was responsible for ensuring the safety of high-profile individuals by managing security in dynamic environments. This role required constant adaptation to changing conditions, quick decision-making, and effective problem-solving. These skills are directly transferable to diving, where handling unexpected challenges, adjusting to varying underwater conditions, and staying adaptable are essential for successful operations.

As a Protective Security Specialist in Kabul, Afghanistan, I was responsible for planning secure routes, locations, and timings for diplomatic missions. This role developed my ability to manage safety, assess risks, and adapt to stressful and challenging environments. These skills are directly applicable to diving operations, where attention to detail, quick decision-making, and maintaining safety in difficult and dynamic situations are essential to completing jobs.

With deployments to both Afghanistan and Iraq, I have developed problem-solving skills and discipline in demanding environments, which are valuable in diving operations. My experience working as part of a team, ensuring safety, and adapting to changing conditions has prepared me for working as a diver in the shipping industry.
