• Kick off meetings for new programs.
• Attending SDT meetings with the Program Manager and all the SDT
members.
• Attending meeting directly with the costumer to satisfy their needs
and also expose and also propose changes that could benefit both
sides.
• Analysis, Schedule & Execution of Hyundai requirements for pilot
runs through the SOP.
• Analysis, Schedule & Execution of Toyota requirements for pilot
runs as 1A, MPT, QCS, through the SOP.
• Quotes development for prototype builds or any type of samples
request from the costumer.
• Open Issues List for design and process issues for each stage of
the sample events. Follow up of the open issues with all the SDT
and APQP members to make sure those issues get "closed status"
before the freeze design is released.
• Coordinate all team plant member activities with due dates and
follow up meetings to make sure all activities are being completed
that will lead the plant to have successful launch or change
implementation
• CN, CR and DA management for new products and engineering
changes.
• Interpretation of constructions drawings and Bill of materials, Air
Bag ODS, Sewing Information Document.
• Knowledge of DFMA, PFMA & Control Plan.
• Specification Table development and meetings with the APQP
team to make sure that critical and significative characteristics
are clear and they are reflected on the Control Plan and PFMA
correctly.
• Raw Material Matrix development to identify new material and
current materials for new programs, based on the bill of materials.
• Explosion of raw material to calculate usage for new material to
cover the pilot runs quantities.
• Spot buys creation for new material .
• Budget control.
• Suppliers meeting review timing, quotes, quantities, concerns,
flammability testings, PPAP timings, Tooling kick offs if is needed
to meet program timing and have a successful launch.
• IMDS Submission and follow up until they are complete.
• New part numbers enrichment for raw material and finished
product.
• BOM Structures of Finished part numbers on QAD system.
• Transfer of service parts and coordinate all multidisciplinary
teams to share the correct information with the service parts plant
until close the transfer process.
