Work History

Cooperative Education Engineer

SEW EURODRIVE
Lyman, SC
  • Completed three rotations at SEW EURODRIVE as a co-op doing various projects and learning fundamental electrical engineering skills: Reading electrical schematics in auto-cad, Designing and assembling electrical panels, Programming PLC's and servo motors to perform various tasks.
  • Programmed a series of conveyor belts to perform various tasks using a C based language in CodeSys.
  • Collaborated with others on projects to develop better solutions to problems and presented the projects in meetings.
  • Worked with VFD's, PLC's, electric motors, gearboxes, multi-axis robots, conveyor systems, and their practical applications.

Senior Design Project

UNDERGRADUATE RESEARCH
Clemson, SC
  • Used engineering and problem-solving skills to create a paint-mixing machine using peristaltic pumps in tandem with a GUI as part of a final culmination of the engineering program.
  • Utilized Python to program the GUI and paint mixing algorithms.
  • This project helped with the entire engineering process from the design phase to the final product.
  • As a group project this also helped develop communication and leadership skills.

Film Producer

Clemson University - Film Club
Clemson, SC
08.2022 - 05.2023
  • Worked with our university film club to produce, cast, write, film, edit and direct multiple short films submitted to film festivals.
  • Coordinated pre-production activities such as casting, location scouting, and set design.
  • Honed cinematography and camera skills.

Calculus Tutor

Clemson’s Academic Success Center
Clemson, SC
  • Led sessions with students to educate and help guide them toward a better understanding of the concepts in their course.
  • Explored new ways to communicate new information to others who aren’t as experienced in the subject matter.
  • Adapted to different learning styles to help students at various skill levels.

Game Development

Creative Inquiry
Clemson, SC
  • Objective: To take an old racing simulator game and reprogram it to have each car drive autonomously and interact with each other and the surrounding infrastructure to simulate fully autonomous driving
  • Worked with a team and learned about the Torcs program and how to modify the vehicles already programmed within it to drive autonomously.

Arduino Programming

Creative Inquiry
Clemson, SC
  • Used an Arduino board to test water samples from a local stream for their physical/chemical characteristics, different bacteria that might be in the water, and different macroinvertebrates.
  • Worked in a small group each week over the course of the semester, programming the Arduino board and designing a casing for it to stay in the water.

Electrical Engineer

Lockheed Martin - Skunkworks
Marietta, GA
11.2023 - Current
  • Extensive background in wire harness design and installation process.
  • Designed 3D wire harness models in 3DExperience and used signal data from Cameo to determine the optimal route for the harnesses to run.
  • Looked over all logical data for multiple different subsystems and served as the intermediary between the systems engineering team and the integrated product team.
  • Designed 3D models of line-replaceable units (LRU's) to implement them into a larger digital model in 3DExperience for the purpose of digitally routing cables to and from the LRU's.
  • Learned to work, communicate, and adapt in a research and development based environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of EMI codes and cable separation requirements for safety protocols.
  • Extensive knowledge of connectors and cable types used in the aviation industry.
