Responsible for monitoring and follow through of service related requests for the Policy Operations unit. Responsible for tracking all Excess Workers Compensation, and State transactions to include: New Business, Renewals, Endorsements, and Non-renewals. Provide accuracy in which transactions are issued and distributed to customers. Knowledgeable in Primary Release Transactions that include Commercial Auto and General Liability.
As part of Policy Services I also process Commercial Automobile Insurance Cards (Auto ID Cards) for clients. This includes ensuring the correct policy data populates applicable Auto ID Cards, correct paper stock is used, and edits are made to the customer's standards.
I also distribute policies and transaction documents to clients. Which includes attaching the appropriate documents as mandated by state bureaus, the creation of mailing and tracking labels, and the maintenance and accuracy of the PSA Tracking database and ImageNow files.
Lastly I am solely responsible for scanning account files not yet housed in ImageNow. I handle requests for historical policy documents from other Departments, researching various resources for box information, requesting files from storage, assisting other units in Insurance Operations, and keeping track of efforts made.
Responsible for accepting incoming Corporate and Claims mail to be processed, sorted, and delivered to the proper recipients. Also responsible for ordering office supplies, and scanning of historical Claims documents.
Knowledge of postage machines, folding and inserting machinery, general office equipment, Microsoft Office, Claims Center, IMS, and ImageNow. Ability to identify different types of insurance documents (1st Reports, Supplemental Reports, Reimbursement Requests, Medical bills, Subpoenas, Polices, I.D Cards, etc.). In this position I also record and maintain Claims documents and information into database (ClaimsCenter or ImageNow).
Monitor Claims Inbox- This inbox was a catch all inbox for different departments concerning mail. Received TPA and Policy changes which would be moved to subfolders. Communicated with TPA”s, Analysts to resolve any Claim concerning issues.
