Assisting at bedside with intubation of all ages, providing breathing treatments, administering surfactant, perform car seat studies, provide critical patient transport, and attend all high-risk deliveries. Daily rounding with physicians and all other ancillary staff, and responsible for ETT placement during all chest Xrays. Respond to all codes and medical emergencies. Precept all new employees. Assist with staffing, scheduling, supply ordering, and training of staff with new equipment/policies. Teach the class NICU Ventilation Strategies quarterly to all new nursing staff at NICU Fellowship. Attend and participate in various monthly committees.
