Alexa Manley

I received my Bachelor of Science in Biology with a concentration in Marine Science from the University of Tampa in 2023 and earned my Master of Science in Environmental and Ocean Sciences from the University of San Diego in May 2026.
Through my academic and professional experiences, I have developed a strong foundation in marine science research, data analysis, scientific communication, and collaborative problem-solving. My graduate education gave me hands-on experience conducting marine research and applying scientific methods to investigate complex questions about marine systems. I approach each project with curiosity, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic, and I am committed to producing accurate, meaningful, and high-quality results.

I am actively seeking a Marine Research position where I can apply my education, research experience, and passion for marine science. I am particularly interested in marine mammals, with a focus on animal behavior, vocalizations, and communication. I am motivated by opportunities to conduct research that advances our understanding of marine species while supporting conservation, management, and the long-term health of marine ecosystems.
