Responded to all medical and fire emergencies within a coverage area, and provided ALS medical care both within district, and as part of mutual aid to neighboring agencies. Responsible for upkeep, cleaning, and maintenance of facilities, apparatus, and equipment. Participated in regular training, food preparation, and department events.

Operated well in both high-stress and routine situations, and focused on creating the highest possible quality of patient care. As a preceptor, was responsible for training and assessing new hires in all aspects of pre-hospital care.
Worked two week shifts in the remote wilderness caring for and instructing up to ten adolescents or young adults struggling with addiction or mental health issues, often with only one other co-staff. As a senior field staff, I was often placed in the most difficult groups, and could be relied on to tackle problems with resourcefulness and self-sufficiency.
