Having graduated from UMass Amherst in May 2014, I started at Healthy Truth as a minimum wage warehouse associate. In October 2014, with no prior experience, I created the entire inventory management and lot tracking system from scratch, and was the main reason for the company passing our first organic inspection and becoming USDA Organic Certified. By July 2015 I was running production, quality control, and logistics for the entire company, and by January 2016 I was also running human resources and sourcing. In the summer 2021 I was offered an opportunity to join DPR Construction. Again, with no prior knowledge of the field, I was running 5 different projects by myself within 3 months of being hired.
