Alexander Gorden

As a technician apprentice I completed basic vehicle services including checking and replacing fluids, checking lights and error codes, fixing and replacing parts as needed. I also completed oil changes and brakes pads and roters as well as calipers and drums. I have experience with differentials and have assisted with other tasks as well as having a project truck that I completed various tasks including a new fuel system gas tank, piston bearings and, spark plugs and spark plug wires as well as various other needed fixes including wiring to make it into a working vehicle.

As an employee at Old Oak Retrievers my main task was in training hunting dogs, this included training with scents, live and dead throws, as well as all grooming, feeding, watering and cage cleaning and determining if dogs were needing any specialized interventions for behavior, training and health. I also evaluated the dogs progress during training and worked with customers to ensure their needs and requirements in training and dog welfare were met. Dog loading and transportation in kennels and in trucks and trailers as well as any other needed tasks for the animals. I also completed grounds maintenance and landscaping including mowing, trimming, controlled burns and maintaining and setting up lake and wildlife training grounds. Including lake de-oxygenization, coloring and removing of weeds and algae thru chemicals processes and also maintaining the bottom of the lake ensuring it was smooth and of proper levels for the animal safety while swimming/drinking. I also completed tractor, truck and any vehicle or building maintenence and repairs as needed.

As farm hand I assisted in prepping fields for planting and field and land maintenance. I also baled, stacked and prepped the hay for customers. While doing so I operated various farm machinery including tractors, trucks, trailers and all terrain vehicles.
