Accomplishments

  • Machine Leaming Keyword Spotter: Using machine learning a keyword spotting model was generated by converting recordings of chosen keywords into spectrograms. The spectrograms were then used as training data to create a model capable of identifying the keywords. An Arduino Nano 33 BLE Sense was used as the interpreter to listen and identify the keywords spoken
  • TI-RSLK MAX Robot: Built dual wheeled robot and created software for obstacle detection, using HC-SR04 Ultrasonic Sensor, and obstacle avoidance as well as line following capabilities. Robot successfully escaped maze as well as detected an object in a course then drove to the object and pointed sensor towards the object using a servo motor and printed a map of the course in the form of distances at different angles that the sensor was turned in.
  • Line Following Robot: Worked on a team of 4 to build a robot that would detect and follow a line using IR sensors. Coded in Arduino to tell the bot when to stop and how to follow the line, and created a presentation on the process of designing, building, and testing the bot.
