The type of person I am is someone who is dependable. When I get a job, the company knows they are going to get someone who is reliable and can always be counted on if needed. I have lots of experience ranging from washing dishes to working the cash register. I have never been late to any job that I have had because I feel like being late is not only disrespectful to the company but also to all the customers. Having good work ethics helps customer service which is the main focal point that companies depend on.
When I worked at this law firm, I was the file clerk. This meant that I had put away all the files for a certain casino the correct folder. This was challenging for me because it was may first job in law but thankfully the people there helped me understand and allowed me the time to fully understand. I would also sometimes go to court to pick up or drop off a certain document for a lawyer within the firm. This job really pushed me because there is no slacking off because if one file is placed incorrectly then that lawyer might not know where it went which could alter their case.
I helped direct children from the ages 7-14 develop their golf skills. This ranged from kids never playing before to maybe playing a couple of times. Part of my duties were to make sure the kids were safe at all times, setting up the stations and talking to parents when they came to pick up their kids.
What I did was scrub and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and other kitchen equipment. I would operate industrial dishwashers to clean plates, glasses, silverware, and cooking utensils. Loaded dirty dishes into the dishwasher racks and unloaded clean dishes from the washer onto carts or shelves. I also would clear the tables and wipe them down for the next customers to use that specific table.
When I worked in the pro shop, I was tasked to help people with all types of questions. I would sign them into their tee times, take calls about the golf course, and work the register when people came in. I also would help with all the tournaments that were being held by checking everyone in and setting up the course.
I would greet the customers and take their food/drink orders and put it into our system. I would also bring their drinks to them when they were ready. Sometimes I would help sit customers if it was very chaotic so the customers wouldn't be waiting for a certain period of time. I would both open and close the restaurant on certain days when we were understaffed.
