
I am currently in the United States Navy with over 7 and a half years Active Duty time. My background consists of being a Supervisor, mentor, training and leading evolutions in either loading, removing or assembling munitions. As a Traffic Technician, I helped control the flow of traffic, plan and implement traffic diversion, provide technical support and maintain repair traffic control equipment.
While on the John C. Stennis, I led 10 sailors in the pack-out of 61 compartments to include 5 magazines in preparation for the ship's Coordinated offload and Outfitting Plan (SCOOP) and meeting Refueling Complex Overhaul (RCOH) deadlines. As well as contributing in 110 scheduled/unscheduled maintenance actions that assisted 7 sailors qualify in 3M. As a Terminal Area Security Officer, I had the responsibility for the inventory of 21 pieces of unclassified information systems hardware contributing to 100 percent accountability of all shipboard information systems. I assisted the Central Technical Publications Library (CTPL) for the division with corrections including TDs, control classified technical publications for the division, and as the Dispersed Technical Publication Library (DTPL) receiving all publications applicable to my work center to ensure they were kept current and complete. During my time in VAQ-129, I aided in the safe loading/ handling of twelve CATM-88 missiles, twenty ALQ-99 Jammer Pods, 4,116 arming/ de-arming evolutions, the expenditure of 6,127 countermeasures directly resulted in the execution of 9,514 sorties, over 4,190 flight hours and aiding in the qualification of 155 Fleet Replacement Aircrew. Diligently I contributed in the completion of over 122 maintenance actions which generated 279 maintenance man-hours. Throughout my years in the military, I held multiple leading roles in which I was in charge of Foreign Object damage (FOD) program which I discovered and corrected 7 related issues found within 5 toolboxes, ensuring 100 percent NAMP compliance in preparation for the 2021 NASWI Weapons Safety Assessment Team resulting in zero discrepancies. As well, I was in charge of all Aviation Weapons Support Equipment (AWSE) in my Squadron ensuring that 68 pieces of AWSE were in proper working order and up to date on maintenance supporting 58 Aircraft. Lastly, I was in charge of regularly updating and maintaining Hazmat material information while giving training to peers on the safety of handling, stowing and discarding material properly and safely.
