At Hennig I have held two positions the longest. The first being in waycover assembly and most recently in our repair department. In waycover assembly I became familiar with spot welding, MIG welding and with the use of power tools. In repairs I have further those skills and also become more of a skilled fabricator. In repairs we fix waycovers and other shrouding for machine tools.
My daily responsibilities were to wipe down surfaces, vacuum, clean bathrooms, and when necessary I would help build trade show displays. I received some forklift training there as well.
When I started the job my main responsibility was to aid in the assembly of front and rear bumpers for Chrysler. While there I used various hand tools and some pneumatic tools. After some time I was in a role resembling a line lead. Performing tasks such as refilling stock and hardware for the line. As well as communicating with the shift supervisor about any problems or successes we were experiencing.
