
• Provide individual supervision for family specialists and/or family clinicians and ensure that the goals established by the referring agency are being met.
• Ensure staff facilitates the clients’ development of their independent capacity to progress and succeed. Meet with staff members and quickly respond to their needs.
• Assist staff members in developing interventions and solutions tailored to the client's needs.
• Review and edit written monthly reports and email these reports to DCF.
• The Community Support & Stabilization program, or CSS, serves families across Eastern and Central MA, as referred by the Department of Children and Families.
• Met with clients in their homes and communities, working to improve family functioning, resolve and reduce conflicts, and advocate for families.
• Worked with clients to attain specific goals; attended meetings with family and children as needed.
• Worked on a supportive team with a Program Coordinator, Clinicians, and leadership to meet clients' needs.
• Worked with special education at-risk youth with behavioral issues related to mental illnesses and general trauma-based behaviors.
• Served as an effective liaison between the youths, their families, foster families, and other agencies.
• Familiarized myself with the individual needs of each student as determined by the student’s IEP.
• Worked with the clinical and teaching staff to implement the COMPASS Behavior Management Plans.
• Provided Crisis Prevention Intervention to students displaying escalated behaviors.
