My name is Alexander Smith Jr., I was born and raised in Rosebud, Tx. In 1991, I joined the United States Army, were I had the opportunity to serve this great country before my departure in 1995. I entered as E-1 upon my departure I had elevated myself to E-4, with the opportunity to advance to E-5 (Sergeant). The understanding and commitment to structure, commitment and dedication I hold in high regards. I've been employed in the same field for 13 years as ACO/CEO, serving the community. I'm a people person! The qualities that I bring along with me are for surely strong attributes to any company. I'm a motivated professional offering 27 years experience in the fire service, I've served in many roles in the fire service from being the new firefighter to now serving as the 4th Vice President of the SFFMA Executive Board, as well as, serving as part of the Callahan County Citizens EMS Executive Board for a term of 2 years, Baird Chamber of Commerce Member for 5 years, M.O.C. Vice President for 7 years. In 2016 I was one of the nominees for the prestigious award that Casco Industries give to Firefighters "The Firefighter of the Year Award." With that being said, I bring with me the value(s) to any organization in need of great collaboration, interpersonal and multitasking abilities. I'm equipped to meet tight deadlines. I consider myself a highly-motivated person with desire to take on new challenges. I will bring with me a strong work ethic, adaptability, and exceptional interpersonal skills, and as well as, working effectively unsupervised and quickly mastering new skills.
