• Under supervision, set up and established experimental field plots and greenhouse experiments at the Rice Experiment Station. Mixed and applied test substances to trial plots, and maintained the greenhouse and field experiments. Evaluated how crops responded to applications and measured the efficacy of treatments on weed species. Assisted the Junior Specialist and Master Student in conducting herbicide research trials in rice. Helped set up, take down, and present the research at the Rice Experiment Station Field Day.

• Was responsible as a cashier to take consumers orders, prep the food, and deliver it to customers within a 3-5 minute timeframe. I was also responsible for cleaning up to 100 trays a day and maintaining a clean and well stocked front of the house and lobby. While employed I had to learn to communicate with my non-English speaking co-workers. This experience helped me get along with those who are from different cultures and backgrounds from my own. While employed I was responsible for working from 2pm-10pm and was in charge of closing down the front of house as well as the cash registers. This experience taught me hardwork and that being clean and completing your work leads to a more positive workplace environment.
